Our goal is to promote the incredible street art all across Los Angeles, raise the visibility and profile of the artists who create it, and help all of us discover and learn about the art all around us.

That’s no small task, especially in a city with thousands of murals with many more being created each day. As a result, this vision will need to be realized over time and, if it is to be successful, will require your help. First of all, we are starting first with downtown LA. From DTLA we plan to expand neighborhood by neighborhood while adding interviews with key artists.

But we need your help! It would take us a long time to capture all the street art in the city even if it wasn’t changing all the time. We need ambassadors all across the city who can flag murals we haven’t yet cataloged, submit photos of new murals as they get created, and notify us as active murals are retired.
